Delicious Buffet Variety

I was thoroughly impressed with the dining options available at the resort. The buffet offered a fantastic variety, including a dedicated Mexican corner, which I loved. I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of seafood choices, though I don’t consume seafood myself. It was great to see a resort take pride in offering local cuisine. Each meal was a delight, and it was nice to always find something I enjoyed.

Amazing Spa Experience

I visited the spa during my stay and had the Caribbean massage – it was absolutely divine! The facilities were beautiful and serene. My daughter also enjoyed a facial that made her skin glow like I've never seen. This experience was a highlight and truly added a touch of luxury to our vacation.

Fun Activities and Pools

The pools at the resort were stunning, and I appreciated how clean the pool area was. Comfortable and Clean Accommodations

Our room was very clean and although it felt a little dated, it was comfortable. The housekeeping staff ensured everything was well taken care of during our stay. Our stay at the Bahia Principe Akumal was overall enjoyable, with fantastic beach access and beautiful pools. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but there were some quirks like humidity and a musty smell. The service from staff varied, with some excellent experiences but also moments of forgetfulness. Dining was good, but it can definitely improve, especially regarding restaurant bookings and consistency. Overall, it’s a lovely place for a vacation, but be prepared for a few minor issues.

I had a delightful vacation at Bahia Principe Akumal, where the service truly stood out. The beautiful grounds and lovely beach were enjoyable, but I faced some inconveniences with mosquitoes that put a damper on my experience. The food options were delightful, especially at the adult-only restaurant, but some aspects of the room left much to be desired.

I had a great stay at this resort! The beach was beautiful and well-maintained, and the pools were fantastic, especially the adults-only infinity pool. The food was mostly excellent, especially at the a la carte restaurants, although the buffet service could use some improvement.
